How do I display the row count of a Tabular DataPage? I wanted to it to be like this (see attached) wherein it will always start with 1 and ends with whatever count or row number it ends: I forgot to add that I know Show record index exist but I can't find a way to add a column/label to it.

I'm having issues downloading xml files from Caspio on some Windows computers. Once I go through the whole keep -> save as song and dance, it converts the file to a .crdownload and refuses to open with excel (corrupts or has other errors) 9 times out of 10. Any ideas on how to fix this? Edit: Having a similar error on Mac but without the .crdownload. This file specifically is coming up with this error when I try to open it.

I'm trying to import a simple one row of test data and one row of column names. It gives me an unknown format message. I've tried using .xls, xlsx, even csv. Nothing works. I've read the forum messages and there is no clear cut solution. What's the secret?

Can you upload data into a table from an excel file?

Hi All, I am a newbie - so please forgive me if the answer to this is obvious and I've just missed it. I want a user to be able to append multiple records from an excel file into a table through a data page. And I want there to be some checks while they do it (like making sure that there are no blank or duplicated records). The user might want to upload anywhere from 1 to 1,000 records, so it would be very difficult to do this by hand. Once the data is loaded, I want to be able to generate charts and reports from it as if it were a regular data table. Is there a mechanism in Caspio to do this? Thank you! -
The problem I face is that when Users download data from my Caspio results table they get an unformated Excel file. It would be great to somehow apply a template to adjust column/row widths, fonts, add a logo, etc., so that when the user opens up the Excel file, all looks consistent and professional. Obviously there's no standard feature in Caspio to do this, but I'm wondering whether such a setup could even be possible. I'd even be happy to write an Excel macro to do the formatting (and call the data) if that could form part of the solution. What makes it tougher is that the whole process would need to happen on the fly. Any advice much appreciated.

Hi there,I had this simulator created https://c3esh258.caspio.com/dp.asp?AppKey=d5ad4000296a67c788fa46879a87 and the field "Idade 1º titular" reads an Excel cell that have number values of age from 18 to 80.How can I make "Data de Nascimento 1º titular" do the same thing - reading the age value from that Excel cell - but instead of inputing the age itself, doing so by inputing the date of birth?I would really appreciate any help.Regards,Rui Farinha -
Where to find more detailed info regarding excel capabilities, within caspio bridge.? ie; implementations, interactions, dis-ableing copying shareing and editing abilities etc? who can help to turn my excel file into a saas offering from my website? with caspio bridge? in a secure way ? from a developer perspective and also a customers perspective. like to gain know how from someone who knows like ned pajic seems to know. i saw a video. but it didn't go into enough detail. thanks!

I would like to set up a database where my authenticated users can upload their records (can be anywhere from 2-10k) in one go (who would fill in my form 10 thousand times a quarter?). The import feature worked great for me here, and if they had the ability to do something similar on their end - including the mapping ability the import wizard has it would be a life saver. Is this possible? I can't seem to find that option. Thank you kindly for your support! This is my first day and I do enjoy the ease of use here. -
I'm and excel guy looking for a simple solution to publish excel data to a Joomla website. Don't know much about databases or html. I have 1 basic excel file, 10 columns and 500 rows. Column 10 is my "filter" and contains 10 different groups for the data. I also want to have different cell background colors based on the values in the cell (either replicate from excel sheet, or ability to set criteria with Caspio bridge). My goal is to embed code on 10 different web pages, each page would display 1 of the groups. Data is updated monthly, was looking for a solution where I could just upload a new source and it would refresh my web pages. Caspio looks incredibly powerful, but it also looks complex. Newbie looking for help - tutorials or resources or advice on simple excel web display. Thanks, Anthony
