  1. I would like to use the Value ("Calculated Distance") provided as a field value by the Distance Search by ZIP/Postal Code in a formula like: CASE WHEN [@field:TravelDistance]< =("Calculated Distance") THEN 0 ELSE 1 END I do not know what Caspio names the value to allow it to be used in a formula. ("Calculated Distance") does not allow the formula to VERIFY. Does anyone know what the name of the value would be to allow it to be used in a formula? Thank You.
  2. Is it possible to set up a distance search passing the parameters from a virtual form? I have a form with virtual fields that passes the parameters to another data page. I have the data page receiving [@OriginPoint] and [@Distance]. Everything works if I use a single form, but we would like to pass the parameters from another page to the results. Thanks!
  3. Hello Javascript Gurus out there I have been trying (for quite a while) to generate a user's latitude and longitude on a report automatically - to use them with a distance search. There are various topics on this forum (such as http://forums.caspio.com/index.php/topic/4205-html-block-to-detect-geo-location/?hl=geolocation), but none do quite what I want. If I try and adapt any of them, passing them from a submission form as parameters for example, I get an error code 'number too long' when I try and use the latitude and longitude to search with. Caspio's excellent Store Locator app does it with the mobile search, but it requires a button to be pressed ('Use my current location'). When I've tried to alter this to suit my needs, I've just ended up breaking it! Ideally, I would like to put the javascript in the beginning of a report and automatically populate the latitude and longitude search fields. In other words, a user would just open the report and it would automatically show venues closest to their current location (mobile or laptop), without them having to click anything. Any help [very] greatly appreciated. Duncan
  4. Hello. To anyone who might be able to help me- I will be so grateful. I am using the distance search app to allow my website visitors to search our database of distributors that sell our products. When I entered in my zip code and chose 10 miles (for the maximum distance), I am getting results for locations located in Mississippi and Illinois when I entered a zip code that is in New York. Any reason why this is happening? The file that I am using as a lookup excel file is mine that has a list of distributors and their addresses. Am I missing another file that I need to link to this one? I am happy to provide any other information to help get this up and going. Thanks! fontainm
