  1. What you wanted to have is similar to the high usage FileStor. Please check it out at http://www.caspio.com/extend/platform-e ... estor.aspx.
  2. Hi, Please check destination of Form 1, and see what is the destination URL. The most possible reason is that the destination URL is the direct URL of Form 2. To fix this, please also embed Form 2 onto another of your web page, get the URL. Then edit Form 1 in Caspio again, and change the destination to the new URL. Hope this helps.
  3. Hi, When editing the DataPage, please use "display a message" instead of "go to a DataPage' as the destination option. Then on the text box, use HTML code to create a link (or button) back to the same form. The following message is an example. Thanks for your submission! Back to the form. . Hope this helps.
  4. Hi, The recommended way to create Open calculator is to use a Web Form. If you don't need to collect the calculations, simply use virtual fields instead of real table fields on the form. Use Javascript to perform the calculation and display calculated results on the confirmation/destination page. Here's one Javascript example - viewtopic.php?f=14&t=12155. Report DataPage is not recommended because it only displays/updates existing records.
  5. Hi, I'm afraid Caspio does not have email campaign analytics. But you definitely can use third party email to track it. We can implement a custom program to send the email trigger to the third party emailer to send email and synchronize. Please fill out the professional services request form at http://www.caspio.com/support/professio ... vices.aspx if you are interested.
  6. Hi Derek, What you'd like to do is possible. The brief steps are as follows. Please first edit Localization of your DataPage, go to the Settings screen and find item # 351 - "No records found." from the Results page >> Messages category. Enable custom text, use "Not available" and wrap the message with a div tag with a specific ID. Then you can come back and edit your Report DataPage, use Javascript to detect if the div with that specific ID can be found or not. If not, then hides the results table and display the "available" message accordingly. Hope this helps.

    Check boxes

    Hi Derek, As I understand, you'd like to automatically hide and show checkboxes on a details page based on the status. It is achievable by Javascript. Here is some sample code to hide one checkbox. function hideit() { if(document.getElementById('EditRecordFIELDNAME').checked==false) { document.getElementById('EditRecordFIELDNAME').style.visibility='hidden'; } } window.onload = hideit;
  8. Hi, Both requests are available on a Report DataPage like explained in the response above. However, they are not a standard features in a view. There's no good way to achieve the first request in a view for now. However, there is a workaround for your second request, which is to combine both fields you'd like to search on into one big field. Then create a view to perform "contains" search on that concatenated field. Hope this helps.
  9. Hi, I'm afraid each file field only accepts one file upload. In order to upload multiple files, you will need to create multiple file fields in the table and include them in your Caspio Form. Your users still need to browse and select the files one by one, then submit all of them at once.
  10. Unfortunately you cannot change the account ID. The only workaround is to create a new account and move all contents over to the new account. However, it doesn't worth the effort for most of the cases. The account ID is just a name to represents your account when you reach out to Caspio and is used when you login your Caspio account. There's no way for anybody else including end users of your app to know this information.

    Hey Derek, I believe you will find the following article helpful - http://howto.caspio.com/datapages/creat ... ssion.html
  12. Hi, Here's a workaround solution. In the form used to submit the summer programming opportunities, make the grade level field a listbox and simply include 3 options: ES, MS and HS. Then use the method instructed in the following link to enable multi-selection on the listbox field: http://forums.caspio.com/index.php/topic/3148-js-select-multiple-values-from-a-listbox-in-a-webform/. On the search form of your Report DataPage, also include the grade level field as a listbox. You can simply check the "allow multi-select" checkbox and use the "match any(OR)" option. Note to change the "comparison type" from "equal" to "contains". In this way, you can submit multiple options and search on multiple options as well.
  13. Hi, Have you tried to relocate the map by using the following map positioning method: By default, the map displays right above your DataPage. If you want to place your map in a different area of your page, place the following code there: You can try to deploy the map code and the DataPage in a blank web page and check if you see the same problem. Feel free to post the URL of your web page if you need any further help.
  14. Hi, Is this process done online? I guess you can create an update form with a file field. Your users can download the file, modify it and upload it again to replace the old file. In order to notify the admin when it's complete, you can add a custom link on the update form (http://howto.caspio.com/customization/g ... ndows.html), which says "If this is completed, please click here to notify the administrator". The link opens another blank update form and triggers the notification email (http://howto.caspio.com/automatic-email ... on-emails/) when the update button is pressed.
