  1. Thanks Chris, we worked it out using a script that assigns a value based on which checkbox is checked rather than a concatenation of multiple checkboxes. No more need to resolve this issue.
  2. I hope someone can help. I am trying to concatenate several text fields together (WMA1, WMA2, WMA3) into another field (WMA). The text field are in my submission data page as checkboxes with text when the checkboxes are checked. I have copied the concatenation JavaScript from the tutorial and I am having a problem. I am currently experimenting with only two of the fields. The purpose is to have multiple checkboxes but when the user selects on of the boxes, the others become disabled. Then i need to get the text value of the selected text box into another text field that will be used to se
  3. I am trying to pass parameters in the url via a hyperlink from a set of search results to a new submission webform. Here, the fields in the new web form are populated with the data in the fields from the record in the search form. This is basically to allow the end user to copy the record and make changes, if necessary, in the table. My problem is that over half of the fields in the new submission page are text fields formatted as checkboxes. Now, when I try to Edit the submission form to 'Configure Fields' and click on the Advanced Options, I click the radio button (or checkbox, in the cas
  4. Hi everyone, I need to create a single-entry global keyword search for all of the records in my table on the search page for a report data page. I am looking to have a textbox where I can enter enter a value and have it search through all of the fields in my table and then return any records that have the keyword text. I can't find the functionality on the 'Configure Search Fields' section on the Search and Report Wizard. Is this type of functionality built into Caspio? Please forgive me if this is answered on the support page or here in the forums - I haven't found anything that answers thi
  5. Thanks eprouver! You gave me just what I needed for the functionality. Per your suggestion, I modified the code to use a table to surround the secondary checkboxes and replaced the virtual field with my primary checkbox field, and it worked perfectly. This also halved the amount of original code I had in the html block - I was trying to figure out a workaround, and needless to say, it wasn't going well. It felt like I was hitting my head against a wall over and over trying different iterations in the code, which I completely do not understand.
  6. I am trying to create collapsible sections per the instructions on the support site at: http://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips/creating-collapsible-sections/ I have the button functionality working great, but I am trying to modify the code to expand and collapse the sections based on a checkbox (for a field in my table) on the data page. Does anyone know if this is possible? The idea is to record the entry into the database table for the main category (the checkbox), and then be able to specify the selection further with the collapsible section that has more checkboxes within it. I would use a ca
