    Hello all,

Please see the second to last post of this page. I have been using a slightly modified version of this deployed on my page instead of within the datapage to great success.

    Hi there,

I have had a lot of success with this article http://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips-and-articles/responsive-datapages-overview/

With using some creative workarounds and using the CSS targets they list in those you can do nearly anything you want using standard practices for using CSS to make things responsive.

Another general tip is try to always do almost all widths (of datapages and individual elements) in % widths rather than pixels.

    Hope this helps!

I actually just had a discussion with our account rep regarding this.

Despite it still listing data caps on the pricing page it is truly unmetered with the new pricing structure.

I clarified that if by chance my application got popular, and I blew past their expexted usage amounts, what would happen then?

They told me that I would not be forced to purchase a higher plan and no data transfer fees would happen, it is truly unmetered.

    Hi all,

I just wanted to see if people would have any interest in posting or having other's post about ways they have used Caspio that is not in any of the TechTips or basic info on howto.caspio.com .

These forums have helped me out a lot while building my application and I think it would be a great way for any of us to give back a little by building a knowledge base to help new users before they ask questions.

I've attached a poll to this and maybe if it gets enough interest the mods can have a specific sub-forum for these topics?

Hope everyone is having a great work week!

Thank you very much DataCobalt! I essentially modified what was suggested in the link you sent me to fit my needs. Thank you so much for your quick and accurate response! The ONLY reason I did not mark your question as the answer that solved my question was because the incomparable Jan attached code to her response which would help future users quicker. Thanks so much for your response!

    Good morning,

I had a similar questions answered recently by Jan here.

All you will need to do is scrap the part about changing the days around and edit the field names and it should work pretty well.

If you have any questions I can try and take a stab at them but I am pretty new to the Javascript business myself.

    Hello CCarls3,

I have a datapage that performs a similar task, but it uses calculated fields rather than an HTML page. What is the end goal of this page?

    Hello DataCobalt,

I am not sure that I have found the best solution, but it seems, it works.

You can use two Java Scripts.
Add the following code to the Header of your DataPage:
    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> var site_URL = "URL_OF_YOUR_PAGE"; var is_it_reset = window.location.search; if (is_it_reset.indexOf("cbResetParam") > -1) { window.location = site_URL; } </SCRIPT> Please insert the correct URL of your site in format http://mysite.com
And add the following code to the HTML block where the Reset button will be displayed:
    <input type="reset" value="Reset" id="reset_button"> <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> function reset_data() { var site_URL = "URL_OF_YOUR_PAGE" + "?cbResetParam=1"; window.location = site_URL; } document.getElementById("reset_button").onclick=reset_data; </SCRIPT> Please insert the correct URL and make sure, that the correct sign is used in the "?cbResetParam=1"
If parameters are used in your URL, it means, the "?" sign already present in the URL, then "&cbResetParam=1"
If no parameters and no "&" signs is used, then "?cbResetParam=1"

    I hope, it helps!

DataCobalt got a reaction from Smoormumouh in Move Submit Button In-Line With Text Fields?
    Good morning,

I am making a submission form that will be arranged in one long line. I would really prefer to have the submit button be on the same line as the text fields as there is a large report below it and the more space I have to work with the better.

I attempted to add the CSS element Float: right to the button in the layout section of the applied style to no avail.

Any and all help is much appreciated.
