  1. Try this. Add a field or change something in your authentications and save them. Remove the field previously added or revert the changes and save the authentication again. It seems it works somehow. Let us know what happens.
  2. Keep in mind that premuim options would add premium costs. Although, I agree with the idea of Caspio offering Webhooks, it is not currently available, so work arounds require either 3rd party services or backend development. I would say Zapier would be the best option for you in this case since they can watch over new or updated records so you can process them automatically.
  3. Hi, I could recommend you playing around with this app template provided by Caspio. Then, you can add a datapage that will only hold the username next to the LOGOUT button in the top navbar of the above mentioned app. It could be a HTML datapage using an Authentication that holds the user name. Optionally, if you have more advanced HTML knowledge, you could create a dropdown that shows only the name and the options under it would be My Profile and Logout, I usually do that and it looks nice. Hope it helps. Regards.
  4. Hi, You have two options at this stage. If you have multiple records that share the same ID, then you need to reestructure your table as there must be a one to many relationship between them. Once you do that, you base your report in the unique records table. Please review the following articles to make sure you understand table relationships and its importance: * Relationships * Relationship settings * Managing relationships If you are not keen of getting your database properly configured as described in step one, then you can use Group option in the report datapage. This article will guide you through the steps. Regards.
  5. Hi, You can accomplish that by using Calculated Fields with SQL subqueries in your report. Please check this article for more info about this approach. Just in case you are still unclear about it after reviewing the above article, you can share the name of the tables or views you would use for the calculations so we may help you with a sample SQL query. I hope this helps, Regards.
  6. Hi , This is possible within Caspio. You just need to create a formula field in the table level which joins the fields you are interested in being unique across records and then mark this field as unique. Check this article for more info. Regards.
  7. Hi @herrma29, If datapage usage is your concern, I will recommend you consulting with an experienced Caspio developer to look at possible options to help your app stick within the limits of your budget, it is not always possible but it is not imposible by integrating some JS plugins or custom code, you will be surprised of how flexible Caspio can be. I hope you can find an appropriate solution for your case. Regards.
  8. Hi @LyaP Alternatively, you could use this service to look for an appropriate flow for your request. I can think only in an API solution. However, I am also sure Caspio could create this behaviour for you in a custom development project. I hope it helps. Regards.
  9. Hi @46hypex, The work around is to store your files in an external storage service such as Google Drive, AWS S3 or Dropbox and then get the link in your Caspio table to display it as a downloadable URL for everyone. This is done through API connections for which you may need custom development. This is just a suggestion so you can consider this option. Regards.
  10. A temporary solution is clearing your browser cache. I was told they are aware of this issue and they working on it.
  11. Hi @Casey, You can call fields and data from another tables(s) or view(s) in a Details section of a report datapage through calculated fields: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/reports/advanced-reporting/calculations-in-forms-and-reports/, please go to "Subqueries in Calculated Fields" section on that page. I hope this can help. Regards.
  12. Hi, I consider Caspio itself as a non coding app creator which is completly true. However, adding custom features outside the fact of creating a web aplication to collect, work and share data are not part of a low code solution. I have seen node.js apps using Caspio to embed a database which may not sound consistent, given the fact that if they use node.js, it means that they have a sort of tech and code knowledge but still looking/complaining for custom integrations like API, PDF Creator, etc which does not make sense. What I am trying to say is that, even when you consider the fees high, if you move your app out of Caspio, your costing and development fees would be way higher than paying someone to develop the feature you need or upgrading your account. What that being said, I can recommend you the following options. Consider Caspio development services. (Highly Secure) Find external devs to develop the PDF stuff (Low Risk, mainly due to there is small protection when dealing with Freelancers so only work with the ones that inspite confidence) Document, learn at least HTML and JavaScript and do it yourself (Free of cost for you but time investment may be considerable) If I were you, I would rather learn myself even as it implicates a sacrifice, this way you can support and continously develop your app. Now, if you have no time or not willing to learn further coding, then you may need to reserve a budget for it. With HTML, JavaScript and CSS, you can create the option to print your web page sections, adding page breaks, etc. I know my comment does not give you a solution but it closes any false expectation you may have. PS: I do not work for Caspio and you are right, we would love to have an option like that out of the box with no third party services. Regards.
  13. Have you tried to fire the script when the cascading element changes? $("[name='cbParamVirtual7']").change(function(){ f_copy_print_address('cbParamVirtual7', 'cke_EditRecordShipToAddress'); });
  14. Hi Nikki, I could think that there may be a syntax issue in the header. Anyways, if possible please share the datapage URL so we can look at it to try to determine the cause. Regards
  15. Hi Robin, That is something we would like to have, but currently caspio emails are sent upon a user action as you mentioned. However, I am working right now in a way to send notifications when certain conditions are met, without any action from the user but I am using third party services to send the email through its API and then calculated fields in a tabular report to compare todays date with all the other conditions. In your case, since you have an expiration date set, you could use a formula field and DateAdd() function https://howto.caspio.com/function-reference/ to have dates with 30 or 90 dates before the expiration date. Then you could have a tabular report and put your API code to the email delivery service you chose, (I am using MailGun), do not forget to deploy this datapage. After this, create a cronJob to open this datapage accordingly so the script runs by itself. Hopefully in the future, Caspio would create a way to do it with no hassle but at this time, this is the only way I have found. Maybe this could give you some light. Good luck!
  16. This is the current link: https://howto.caspio.com/authentications-and-connections/authentication/hiding-multiple-login-forms/
  17. Hi, Your original code seems to be right but just a little detail in the first line of your script. You have document.getElementByID with uppercase ID, change that part to document.getElementById and let us know if it works. Regards.
  18. Hi, Interesting task. Triggers may not be an option for you as you say you will be importing csv files into Caspio. What I could think is that you may have a formula field in your table with the following code: CASE WHEN Len([the field]) = 0 THEN 'YOUR DEFAUL VALUE HERE' ELSE [the field] END It means, in your datapages, you will use this formula field to display data. We are saying that if your field is blank, then use the default value but if it is not empty, then use the value entered. Let me know if that makes sense.
  19. Are you sure you have authorized your Caspio API profile to read, insert, update or delete accordingly?
  20. Caspio can integrate any other third party service that provides API access,
  21. Hi Sheik, I have succesfully integrated 2Checkout Payment Gateway with my Caspio apps through the API. You should consider it as an option. In any case, you should get Caspio Professional Services or an independant developer to do integration. Regards.
  22. Hi, This seem to be a many to many relationship since many movements could belong to many wrestlers. To do this, you need to use an intermediate or third table. So you have, Wrestlers and Movements tables. Each of these should have their own key (GUID for wrestlers and Autonumber for Movements would be fine). The third table should be called something like "Wrestler_Movements" with basically 3 fields, ID, Wrestler_Rel_ID and Movement_Rel_ID. Please Note, in this third table, you will only store keys not values, this way you will have access to all fields from both tables in the same view if needed. Then, you need to create the relationship, from Wrestlers to Wrestlers_Movements and from Movements to Wrestlers_Movements, at this point you have a many to many relationship created. You can use this article as a reference. When creating the relationships, I would advise you to check the "Display Value" box and select a meaningful field for you, you will see the importance later. After doing that, open the Wrestler_Movements table and start linking Wrestlers to Movements. Then, you can use the Wrestler_Movements as a dropdown source using Security filters in your datapage. I hope it helps.
  23. I would disagree. Upwork takes 20% and when you reach certain amount, it gets down to 10% which is the case when you are interested on building long lasting relationships through your excellent work. I think it is worthy the protection level you recieve in both sides, as a company and as a developer, resolving disputes and some other benefits. I have also posted jobs and I have not received any spam. Plus, there are good developers, cheap ones are not recommended though, usually not good english and poor logic sense. My answer was oriented to provide an option, the final customer can decide what is the more convenient depending on their needs but as developers, we should not judge but provide options.
  24. Hi, Maybe you are trying to make a cross table calculation by using the calculated field, in such case, you can write the calc field formula and then by ussing some CSS, you could hide the calc field column and use a HTML Block to create your link using the calc field data as it will be available from the parameters dropdown list. I hope it gives you some light towards the most appropiate solution.
