  1. Hi @kpcollier, I have seen similar behavior on Caspio Ready Made App called Resource scheduling. http://apps.caspio.com/demo9/rs/login.html Login in as a member, perform a simple search and you will see a Tabular Report with "Reserve this Item" button which performs similar logic. I believe you need the following items in order to create similarly flow within your app: 1. Single record update form with default elements hidden by CSS. 2. Embed this DP in the HTML block of the report by using the Iframe deployment method. I need to mention that DP performance m
  2. Hi @mgredmond, Do you use View as a Datasource for the Datapage? Perhaps you trying to write a parameter into the table which is not editable. Hope this helps. Regards, vitaliksssss
  3. Hi @roattw, It is not necessary to use SQL to count a number of times a checkbox was checked. It is hard to imagine how your table design looks like, so I can provide you with general tips. You can check the Total & Aggregation field available in Tabular report to create desired output: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/reports/advanced-reporting/totals-and-aggregations/ You may also consider using Pivot table in order to get an aggregated count: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/reports/pivot-table/ One of the reasons why I chosen Caspio over the Knack
  4. Hi @kpcollier, What DP type do you use?
  5. I have tweaked the formula provided by @MayMusic further since some time I need zero in front of single-digit hour e.g. 7:00. So, for the total&aggeration field it looks like this: (CASE WHEN LEN(CAST ((SUM(DATEDIFF(SECOND, [@field:Start_time], [@field:End_time]))/3600) AS VARCHAR(6))) < 2 THEN '0'+ CAST ((SUM(DATEDIFF(SECOND, [@field:Start_time], [@field:Hora_fin]))/3600) AS VARCHAR(6)) ELSE CAST ((SUM(DATEDIFF(SECOND, [@field:Start_time], [@field:Hora_fin]))/3600) AS VARCHAR(6)) END) + ':' + (CASE WHEN LEN(CAST ((SUM(DATEDIFF(SECOND, [@field:Start_time], [@field:Hora
  6. Hi @MayMusic, I have noticed that this expression does not return a correct result if accumulated hours exceeds 24 hours. Can you help me to tweak the formula? Thanks, vitalikssssss
  7. Hi @eetimm, Please note that below syntax in SQL query is incorrect because it is treated as a single string value: How do you store data in the field "search_alpha"? It would help if you could provide us with more insights on how this field is generated and what is the desired output of the Trigger. Regards, Vitalikssssss
  8. Hi there, How can I create a chart using just values from table fields but not the count/sum functions? My result set is 1 row and I want to show values on a chart. If value is blank - I don't want to show it on the chart. Any help will be appreciated. Regards, vitalikssssss
  9. @Casey, it looks like a bug to me too. It is better to notify Support Team, so they could address it in one of the upcoming releases. regards, vitalikssssss
  10. Hi @Casey, There is a response parameter called "rows" which you need to specify in order to get a list of affected records. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  11. Hi All, I have a problem with one of my Submission form. I need to conditionally hide a field if the user checks the checkbox field (Virtual). I have tried to achieve this functionality with standard Caspio feature call "Rules", however, it doesn`t save the value if the field is hidden with "Rule". Forgot to mention the field receive an auth parameter on load. Can someone share with me a pure JS solution for hiding fields conditionally? Thanks, vitalikssssss
  12. Hi @lonyango, I was working on a similar type of design recently. I have a Tabular report Datapage with a field q-ty which can be incremented/decremented with custom buttons without inline "Edit". Here are the steps for building this behavior: 1. Create a Details Page with the field which you would like to edit. - Datapage should be filtered by predefined criteria by external parameter e.g. some ID field; - Add the following CSS code in the Header of the Datapage in order to hide default elements of Details page (tested on the default "Caspio" style);
  13. Hi @kpcollier, What type of Join are you using in the View? I can suggest adding a field with a default value "0" to Orders_Table and field with a default value "1" to Completed_Table. You should use newly added fields in Join settings of the View and also select ALL records from both tables. Hope this helps. Regards, vitaliksssss
  14. Hi @kpcollier, I believe you can switch the comparison operator for "Tech_Status" to "Not Equal". Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  15. Hi @ShadowSovereign, I heard that Integromat platform also has a Caspio app available for integration with 3rd party tools. Regards, Vitalikssssss
  16. Hi @jimarch, You can utilize Cascading radio buttons and lookup table which would output all possible combination of ranks. Users will be forced to submit their "rank" choices for each location in sequential order. Your first location will have radio-buttons "1-4 " and each next location will have a set of radio - buttons without the one selected on the previous step. You may upload the following app sample and test above - mentioned workflow in the Data page I have created: App Regards, vitalikssssss
  17. Hi @PlaceWorks, It would help a lot if could share a screenshot of a table relationship between tables. Also, please let me know if you have cascade update and/or delete enabled in relationship settings. Regards, vitalikssssss
  18. Hi @kpcollier, You can check the status before the update to make sure it is not equal to the list of previous statuses. Here is an example for one of the Trigger blocks: Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  19. Hi @DaveC2019, I think the calculated value form element might be the right feature to implement the described workflow. You can find more about this element in the following article: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/datapage-components/calculated-values/ Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  20. Hello @valentid, I have an application in which I have solved a similar case. The purpose of this app is to track booking request. I have deployed a simplified version of this app at the following site: https://sites.google.com/view/caspio-booking-app/home This app requires 2 Datapages, 4 Tables, 1 Triggered action. Datapage: Submission Form - to insert booking request. Calendar Datapage - to show all request made for different users. Tables: Users_tbl - holds information about users; Booking_request_tbl - holds information about booking r
  21. Hi @LynnR , Your query from the first post looks correct. Try to play around with Localization settings on the field level. Regards, vitalikssssss
  22. Hi @LynnR, I would assume that your calculated field has currency formatting applied. Make sure that your calculated field formatting set to "None" in order to remove currency sign. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  23. @abitaquest it is better to open a ticket to Caspio Support since this behavior looks very odd.
  24. Hi @abitaquest, I know that file size limit for scheduled task and manual export is different. The scheduled task export/import: file should be 50 Mb or less. Manual export: file should be 1Gb or less. Make sure that your table fits the size limit. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  25. Hi there, I would appreciate if someone could help me modifying styles of a dropdown on inline insert functionality of Tabular Report Datapage. I have a Cascading dropdown "EMAIL" where I would like to assign a special font and add a bottom border for each option. The challenge I am facing is that I have other dropdowns on this Datapage and I would like them to preserve default styling. Thanks, vitalikssssss
