  1. Hi @TaxGuy, I believe that the JS event you currently use causes the issue. Try to use Caspio built-in event handler BeforeFormSubmit explained in this article: https://howto.caspio.com/release-notes/caspio-bridge-13-0/13-0-impacted-areas/ Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  2. Hi @NickO, I do not think it would be possible without back-end programming. I would suggest contacting Caspio Professional Services Team who can build this type of integration via back-end. Regards, vitalikssssss
  3. Hi @CHlux, I do not think you will be able to transfer file via Zapier. Perhaps you should check WebMerge REST API which should have a method to post a file into external database such as Caspio. Caspio REST API supports file transfer. You can check Swagger documentation in order to find the method for file transfer. I would recommend Professional service department of Caspio if you are not familiar with REST API. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  4. Hi @DesiLogi, Perhaps you can add a simple alert("Success") function to notify the user that submission was successful. Regards, vitalikssssss
  5. Hi @DesiLogi, You can use window.open() function for your second URL and setTimeout for the first URL in order to refresh the page after the second URL opens. <script type="text/javascript"> document.addEventListener('DataPageReady', function (event) { window.open('[@field:Second_URL]'); setTimeout(function(){ window.location.href = '[@field:First_URL]'; }, 3000); }); </script> Please note that pop-ups are blocked by the default in most commonly used web-browser and a user must allow pop-ups prior it will be opened by JS. Hope this helps. Regards, vit
  6. Hi @DesiLogi, I am 100% sure that you have also received an error in the browser Console before form submit. This error means that Value attribute can be set to an empty string only. I believe this is a security restriction of the browser. I can suggest storing a URL of the picture i.o. storing a file in the table. Hope this helps. Regards, Vitalikssssss
  7. Hi @Corpcatalog, You can build such Chart in Caspio but you would need to modify your table first. You table should look like the following: You can build the following Chart once you transform your table: You may import attached Datapage to your account in order to see the settings for the Chart Datapage. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss CaspioData_2019-Sep-10_1309.zip
  8. Hi @mgredmond, It looks like a Bug to me. I would recommend reporting this issue to Customer Support via a ticket. Hope they will be able to address it quickly. regards, vitalikssssss
  9. Hi @kpcollier, You should consider using Triggered action for this type of ID generation. Your Trigger should be based on Order table and should update the #inserted. Also, you need to have on field to store a sequence number of the Order. You can import attached examples to find more about the Trigger. Hope this helps. 10. List-String is a special Datatype and I am afraid you cannot use is in SQL functions.
  11. @JJMcM123, You should use Product table as a Datasource in order to create a report with a unique Product without duplicates. You can use SQL in Calculated fields in order to retrieve values from Price table. Relationships between table will not help to avoid the duplicates. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  12. Hi @kpcollier, I think you should consider using Triggered action in order to validate if customer exist or not. You can create a new record if the customer does not exist with Triggered action. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  13. Hi @splinteredangel, I assume that you using Auto-submit JS from the following post: https://forums.caspio.com/topic/4314-js-auto-submit-a-datapage/ If so, you can change timeout time in order to slow down the submit of the Datapage. By default, the code set to auto-submit the form with 1 sec (1000 ms). Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  14. Hi @JJMcM123, Please send us a screenshot of table relationship between concerned tables. Thanks, vitalikssssss
  15. Hi @JJMcM123, Try using the following expression in your Calculated field: SELECT TOP 1 Price FROM Price WHERE PlanID = target.[@field:PlanID] ORDER BY Date DESC Make sure that you using table "Plans" as a Datasource for your Report Datapage. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  16. Hi @kpcollier, I was able to replicate the issue only in FF browser, however the behavior was not consistent. I would recommend adding min-width property with an "!important" tag to all List-String elements. You can check this screenshot for more information. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  17. Hi everyone, I would like to implement XIRR function from Excel in Caspio. Can somebody give me a direction on how to achieve this? Thanks, vitalikssssss
  18. Hi @Colnocode, Perhaps you can utilize a Triggered Action feature in order to create a back-up log of quotes. More or less similar case explained in the following tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wA7KR9dygh4 Let us know if you need any further help. Regards, vitalikssssss
  19. Hi @roattw, I do not think there is a way to add a prefix First_Last_Name to the uploaded file. I have found a similar request on Caspio IdeaBox: 164206, so you can vote for implementing such a feature in one of the upcoming releases. If you allow your users to upload files with authenticated DP (Submission/Report) then you can capture user ID in a hidden field. Hope this helps. Regards, vitalikssssss
  20. @kpcollier, I see. Perhaps you can place a package on a Dropbox or G drive and provide me with a share link via private message. Regards, vitalikssssss
  21. Hi @kpcollier, My suggestion is to check field width property for concerned List-String. Try using a fixed width in pixels: Please provide me with an exported copy of Datapage along with dependencies (without data) if the issue still persist. Regards, vitalikssssss
  22. Hi @kpcollier, I have seen similar behavior on Caspio Ready Made App called Resource scheduling. http://apps.caspio.com/demo9/rs/login.html Login in as a member, perform a simple search and you will see a Tabular Report with "Reserve this Item" button which performs similar logic. I believe you need the following items in order to create similarly flow within your app: 1. Single record update form with default elements hidden by CSS. 2. Embed this DP in the HTML block of the report by using the Iframe deployment method. I need to mention that DP performance m
  23. Hi @mgredmond, Do you use View as a Datasource for the Datapage? Perhaps you trying to write a parameter into the table which is not editable. Hope this helps. Regards, vitaliksssss
  24. Hi @roattw, It is not necessary to use SQL to count a number of times a checkbox was checked. It is hard to imagine how your table design looks like, so I can provide you with general tips. You can check the Total & Aggregation field available in Tabular report to create desired output: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/reports/advanced-reporting/totals-and-aggregations/ You may also consider using Pivot table in order to get an aggregated count: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/reports/pivot-table/ One of the reasons why I chosen Caspio over the Knack
