  1. You can restrict a field to be 'display only'
  2. Hi, I've been trying to add icons to form fields, like most modern forms now include (e.g. an email symbol on the left inside the form field) Is this possible with CASPIO? We don't seem to have much control over the HTML of form elements and most of what I have read, especially for bootstrap css, requires a div element to be added to the form HTML element. For example: <div class="form-group"> <label class="control-label" for="email"> Email </label> <div class="input-group"> <div class="input-group-addon"> @ </div> <input class="form-control" id="email" name="email" type="text"/> </div> </div> Where the div class="input-group-addon" is a bootstrap class that inserts a icon at the start of the field. Thanks, Scott
  3. Hi, We are in the final stages of a project where users are able to download a PDF version of the responses they have submitted. The PDF document is several pages long and is designed as a professional customised template. We want to be able to save all users PDF files in the CASPIO database so they can access the files in the future without having to generate them again from the CASPIO data page. We also want to be able to mass download all PDF files from all users at once (over 900 members). This is complicated by the fact that parameters cannot be passed to the PDF generator within CASPIO. We would like to know if there is a solution for using JavaScript that will generate the PDF file (perhaps as a standard data page) and then when the download link is pressed it downloads the file to the users hard drive, but also uploads the file to the CASPIO database? I've got as far knowing this command will allow different types of files that can be uploaded: <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> document.getElementById("InsertRecordfilename").setAttribute("accept","application/pdf"); </SCRIPT> Is it possible to upload the present data page using a similar command? Thanks Scott
  4. Unfortunately the pivot table didn't work in my situation. I would like to transpose the table as discussed above for an individual record. Normally the details page would be used for this, but I would like the formatting to look like a table. I want my table to have the following format: Company ABC Criteria Score % Criteria 1 10 5 Criteria 2 15 8 Criteria 3 20 19 With a standard table, the criteria headings (criteria 1 to criteria 3) are shown in in the first header row, but I want them shown in the first column? Any ideas? Scott
  5. Hi, I want to use the CASPIO styles on my wordpress site. The wordpress site comes with a pre-installed theme and has extensive CSS styles that are applied. Is there a way to force the CASPIO styles to be applied to my website and ignore the wordpress theme CSS. It seems like this should be relatively straightforward and many users have reported similar problems but i've not found a workable solution other than changing the original CSS file in the wordpress site. I've been editing this for weeks and everytime I edit one thing something else on the site breaks. It would be much simpler if I could just apply the CSS code for the CASPIO part of the site to the CASPIO elements and the other parts of the site would still use the wordpress CSS. Iframes are not an option as I am passing parameters. I've tried reseting styles in both wordpress and CASPIO and applying the CSS to each page of the wordpress site and to the header of the data page in CASPIO using these and similar reset styles http://html5doctor.com/html-5-reset-stylesheet/. I've used the !important parameter as well and this has had no effect. Please help! Scott
