    Responsive Forms

    Hi, I think there is a Howto documentation that Caspio provides on how to make your form responsive. You can refer to this link: https://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips-and-articles/responsive-datapages-overview/responsive-forms-submission-web-form-updatedetails-form-search-form-login-form/ Hope that helps. Regards, @NailDyanC
  2. Hi, Just want to add to the previous comments above, Yes I think it is much better to use a view in joining tables if that works with your workflow. With that, you need to create a relationship between the 3 tables before creating a view. You can check this link on how to do that: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/relationships/creating-and-managing-relationships/ Regards, @NailDyanC
  3. Hi, Just to add to the previous comment above, if I understand you correctly, you need a Gallery style DataPage that instead of hyperlinks you will use pictures to redirect it to another Page, Right? That workflow is doable in Caspio. You can refer to this link: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/reports/result-set-layouts/ Hope that helps. Regards, @NailDyanC
  4. Hi, Just want to add from the previous comment above, you need to create first a relationship between the two tables before creating a view. You can check this link on how to do that: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/relationships/creating-and-managing-relationships/ Hope that helps. Thanks, @NailDyanC
  5. Hi, Are you referring to the number of dropdowns in a DP? I think the Maximum Number of dropdown options(in a DataPage) is approximately 20,000. Hope this helps. Thanks, @NailDyanC
  6. Hi, Just want to update this post, the current version of Caspio Bridge is 14.0 and if you want to check the release notes of the current version of Caspio Bridge you can refer to this link: https://howto.caspio.com/release-notes/caspio-bridge-14-0/. Thanks, @NailDyanC
  7. Hi, Just to add to the previous comment above, I think that is very doable in Caspio. In the "Search and Report Wizard - Search Type", you just need to select: Filter data based on your pre-defined criteria. Then you should choose "Allow parameters in search criteria - bridge parameters only" for you to escape the Search Page. You can follow the links below: Step 1: http://prntscr.com/kznpgs Step 2: http://prntscr.com/kznq7t Step 3: http://prntscr.com/kznqs7 Step 4: http://prntscr.com/kznr1n Hope that helps.
  8. Hi, In addition to the previous comment above, if you want to use list string in one of your DataPages without losing the old data. I think it is better to use a lookup table to get the value of a specific field and store it in your table. A lookup table is usually a simple table containing a list of records that are meant to be displayed as options in dropdowns, listboxes, or radio buttons. For example, a lookup table can have a field named ‘Department_Name’. The records of that table would contain the names of departments in your organization. You can refer to this documentation: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/lookup-tables/ Hope that helps.
  9. Hi WatashiwaJin, I think there is a related question to this. You can refer to this link . Hope that helps.
  10. Hi, I also have the same issue before, I believe that Caspio can save a video file in the table (Single file upload via DataPage submission is 50 MB) but it will not or cannot be played in the DataPage once you play it because I think they don't have a player for that. In addition to the previous comment above, you can use Youtube to store your videos and you can also play it at the same time. Hope that helps. Regards, @NailDyanC
  11. Hi @JanineB Regarding with your question, you just need to put "25" as the maximum length of your field in the "Character length" under "Field Options" in your DataPage, since you just need only 25 characters as the maximum limit of the field. You can refer to the screenshot below:
  12. Hi, Regarding with your question, yes you can create unique ID fields in your table. Just create a field inside your table and set your ID as a unique ID. Just click the Unique button next to the field that you want to be unique. Just like in the attached screenshot below.
  13. Hi Allen, Do you mean you want to Delete permanently your file to your database? If that's what you want, Go to All assets->Files select all the files using a checkbox in the left top corner and delete files using bulk actions if you want to remove a lot of files. If you want to remove only just select the file you want to delete and click "Delete". Thanks, @NailDyanC
  14. Hi @jnordstrand Regarding your question, that is possible in Caspio. For example, if you want to create a Multiple Choice type Test or Quiz. The questions must be field values in the table and then you need to select them in your submission page and select radio button for answers and type in the options. You can also view the result in a separate DataPage. But if you want another type of Test or Quiz, you can try other Caspio functionality that will suit to your workflow. Hope that helps.
  15. Hi, Regarding with your question, Caspio Bridge enables you to quickly create powerful online applications without programming. Caspio is a Rapid Application Development, unlike manual programming that will take you months to finish a certain application or program but in Caspio you can do it just by days or weeks. We have Webinars that you can attend to help you know more about the standard features of Caspio. Also, we have video tutorials and HowTo documentation that you can refer to: https://www.youtube.com/user/CaspioInc https://howto.caspio.com/ We also have Ready-made applications that showcase the features of Caspio. You may want to visit them at https://www.caspio.com/apps/ to find workflows that may suit your application need. Hope this will help you. Thanks, @NailDyanC
  16. Hello@NJConrcs, Yes, it is possible for phone validation to work on a single record update form. Just change the “InsertRecordSubmitPhoneNumber” to “EditRecordSubmitPhoneNumber”. Here is the sample script to guide you: <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> function f_a(v_id) { return document.getElementById(v_id); } f_a('EditRecordSubmitPhoneNumber').maxLength = 14; f_a('EditRecordSubmitPhoneNumber').onkeyup = function(v_e) { v_e = v_e || window.event; if (v_e.keyCode >= 65 && v_e.keyCode <= 90){ this.value = this.value.substr(0, this.value.length - 1); return false; }else if (v_e.keyCode >= 37 && v_e.keyCode <= 40){ return true; } var v_value =(this.value.replace(/[^\d]/g, '')); if (v_value.length==7) { this.value = (v_value.substring(0,3) + "-" + v_value.substring(3,7));} else if(v_value.length==10){ this.value = ("(" + v_value.substring(0,3) + ")-" + v_value.substring(3,6) + "-" + v_value.substring(6,10)); }; } </SCRIPT> Note: Kindly change “EditRecordSubmitPhoneNumber” to the name of your field. Regards, @NailDyanC
  17. Hi @NJConrcs, Yes, you can do it in Caspio. Just set the Character length( Maximum and minimum) of the field, please see the attached Screenshot for reference. But if you want the format just like this: (XXX)-XXX-XXXX, here is the Javascript code for that: <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> function f_a(v_id) { return document.getElementById(v_id); } f_a('InsertRecordSubmitPhoneNumber').maxLength = 14; f_a('InsertRecordSubmitPhoneNumber').onkeyup = function(v_e) { v_e = v_e || window.event; if (v_e.keyCode >= 65 && v_e.keyCode <= 90){ this.value = this.value.substr(0, this.value.length - 1); return false; }else if (v_e.keyCode >= 37 && v_e.keyCode <= 40){ return true; } var v_value =(this.value.replace(/[^\d]/g, '')); if (v_value.length==7) { this.value = (v_value.substring(0,3) + "-" + v_value.substring(3,7));} else if(v_value.length==10){ this.value = ("(" + v_value.substring(0,3) + ")-" + v_value.substring(3,6) + "-" + v_value.substring(6,10)); }; } </SCRIPT> Just add that JavaScript Code inside your Footer. Note: Kindly change “InsertRecordSubmitPhoneNumber” to the name of your field. And make sure that you already have the Javascript code in your footer before setting up the Character length. Hope that helps. Regards, @NailDyanC
