  1. Haven't tried that one yet, but I believe you need to set up an ID Services as stated on this documentation. On this link, you can follow how to set this up. https://howto.caspio.com/authentications-and-connections/setting-up-id-services/ More about Open ID on this article: https://howto.caspio.com/faq/authentication/what-is-openid/ I hope this helps.
  2. Hi Carioca, Like the previous comment said, File and List DataTypes are not available in triggers, but we do have workarounds. So, since I can not pass the files, what I did was to store the files on the Filestor CDN. From there I was able to get the Full path of the file by first displaying the files on a reports page. The path should look like this: https://eucdn.caspio.com/XXXXXXXX/folder_name/file_name Then using formula field, you can just concatenate the file name, from there, you can now access the files and now, you can also use it inside the trigger. Very tedious process but this worked for me. More about filestor on this link. Hope this helps.
  3. Having to change the style will make all the DataPage using the same style adjust. If you want to apply it on in a specific DataPage, I suggest that you use CSS coding and apply it to your DataPage header. It should look like this. .cbFormTextField{font-size: 16px !important} Hope this helps. hehe
  4. I can't upload it here, i dont know why I have this restriction. I tried, but i can only be allowed to attach a very small file. hmmmmm Maybe I can send message it to you.
  5. Yes, that does make sense. Here's a sample trigger that I created: http://prntscr.com/p2uz6b You need to create 2 triggered actions, one for Insert and another for Update. The reason is because, upon Insert, we only need to compare the inserted with the other values, if it is less than the minimum of the Min Value. But on Update, we need to compare the #inserted if it is less than the previous value and at the same time, compare if it is less than the Min Value inside the Table. Unless we create a separate trigger for the Update, the trigger will still recognize the previous value as an option to be the Min Value. Here's the Update Trigger. http://prntscr.com/p2v187 It's working on my end.
  6. Hello Batchini! Well, there would be two ways how to create this. If we're going to use trigger, this may be a complex one. One easy way I thought of is with the use of Calculated Fields, but this would only be on a DataPage Level. You can use this formula to get the Minimum Value. SELECT MIN(FieldName) FROM Child WHERE ID = target.[@field:FieldID] Assuming if you have a foreign Key inside your child table. So we'll be using this formula to display the minimum value, Datasource would be your parent table. I hope this helps. Scar();
  7. Hi there, I am creating a ticketing system. I have a same idea as this forum post: So I have three DataPages for just one workflow. I understand that I needed to have these when using standard feature, but I'm a bit short in Number of DataPages. So as much as possible, I would like to lessen it. I have these DataPages. 1) Submission Form - where the tickets are being submitted. 2) For Assigning ticket (This will receive a timestamp which will indicate the Start Time for the ticket) 3) For Closing Ticket (Receives timestamp for closing the ticket) And I also solve the Spent time for Start Time and End Time so I can see how long the ticket was resolved. Now, my plan is - to have this DataPage, where I can assign the Ticket handler and Status in one datapage. (Details Page) The problem is, I can't figure out how to set the Start time and end time now. Any ideas? Scar
  8. Hi @Glitch This was in the Caspio documentation. You can use up to 16 tables, but best performance should be less than that. ❤️
  9. Hi @Glitch, This error occurs when you exceed the limit of 2 cascading triggers. Caspio's cascading triggers is only limited to 2. Now, what are cascading triggers? This is when, a triggers action activates another trigger. So for example, Table A has trigger 1 > The trigger is to Update Table B. Table B has trigger 2 > Trigger 2 runs on UPDATE, then again activates another trigger. Now these are cascading triggers. These acts as a waterfall trigger. I think this error may also happen when you are trying to create triggers on the same event. Say, the events are - Insert records to table1 upon Insert on table2 . And you have another trigger that would insert records to Table2 as well. You can view the triggers associated on the Table by clicking Properties under the Tablename. From there, you can check which of the Triggers are causing the conflict. Hope this helps!
  10. Not quite good in Javascripts but you can use this one I tried. Create an HTML Block and disable HTML Editor. And then paste this code: <input type="button" value="Time Check" onclick="getElementById('timecheck').innerHTML=Date()"></button> <p id="timecheck"></p> Let me know if this helps.
  11. You can check out this Article: https://howto.caspio.com/files-and-images/resize-images/ Same function as this one. Hope this helps =)
  12. Hi Vanellope! I think this would still be doable within the use of Conditional Forms. You can create a Virtual Calculated Field for the formula, and then use it later on to the Rules. 1st step: Virtual field - Calculated Value. (field1+field2) 2nd Step: Use the Virtual field to compare Values RULE: VirtualField = 50 ACTION: Hide field3. Not quite sure as well if you can use CSS or Javascript inside the CASE WHEN Statement as, I have not tried it yet. Although, this would be a good workaround. If you want to hide the Virtual Fields, you can do so, just visit this link. Regards, Scarlet
  13. They do have documentations regarding this inquiry. You can check out the following links to learn more: https://howto.caspio.com/localizations/modifying-a-localization-object/ https://howto.caspio.com/localizations/ https://howto.caspio.com/localizations/modifying-a-localization-object/ That's all folks
  14. For the second question, "the ability to update one record from from a value in another record. " I think, the Triggered Actions can do the trick. Check out this documentation about triggered actions: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/triggered-actions/ Hope this helps
  15. Hi there! This is pretty much doable within Caspio. The good thing about Caspio is you have several references and resources which can help you make your own app. On the other hand, Caspio has Professional Service Team if you want them to do the app for you. But regarding your application, Here's my insight. You will need a submission form to create your Booking System. Regarding Start and End Dates, this is also possible in Caspio. The do have Calendar forms that you can utilize to view the record of the schedules they submitted. Regarding the Home Stay Database, it will be like the same as the Booking System. Have you seen the Caspio's Ready Made Apps yet? You can check it out to see what Caspio can do: https://www.caspio.com/apps/ You can check out the Real-Estate App with regards to the Number of rooms or details of rooms you wanted to do. It seems that you have a very specific workflow, which is a good start if you want to create a new app. Caspio is a good choice! Have a great day!
