  4. Thanks for all the suggestion! While exploring the platform, I also discovered the FileStor CDN which helped me a lot in displaying my images on my DataPages. Here's the link of the HowTo article if you want to learn more: https://howto.caspio.com/files-and-images/filestor-cdn/

  6. Hello there, if it helps, there's a new HowTo documentation about auto refreshing a page and you may check it using this link: https://howto.caspio.com/faq/reports-datapages/how-to-auto-refresh-a-page/
  7. Hi there! I'm not very familiar with printing barcodes using Zebra printer, but if in any case you consider using PDF to complete your workflow, that is something that can be achieve through your DataPages. You also have an option to open the PDF in a new tab of your browser without having to download the file to make it easier for you to print the page. Here's a HowTo article that you may check for more information: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/pdf-download/pdf-download/
  8. Hi, I also suggest checking the release notes posted in the online help center to see the latest updates made within the platform. Here's the link to the latest version: https://howto.caspio.com/release-notes/caspio-bridge-28-0/
  9. On top of this, you may also create a user specific redirection after setting up your user roles and authentications. Here's a HowTo article for more information: https://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips-and-articles/common-customizations/create-user-specific-redirect-after-login/
  10. Hello there, I have a suggestion in mind but instead of using an application task, I suggest creating views out of your original table to filter out the users for every user group without the need of transferring every record to different tables. Here are the steps: 1. Add a 'Yes/No' field for every user role (Students, FM and SM) that you have. If a user belongs to two different user group, you may check both checkboxes 2. Create a view using the table and set a filter. You may refer to this HowTo article: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/what-are-views/creating-a-view-to-filter-data/ 3. Create an authentication for every user role using the views that you created You may also check this one for more information: https://howto.caspio.com/authentications-and-connections/authentication/setting-up-user-permissions-in-your-app/ I hope this helps. Cheers!
  11. Hello again, I found this interesting solution using a different approach while browsing the forum page and you may want to check it out as well:
  12. Hello, it seems that the workflow for this HowTo article is similar to what you are trying to achieve: https://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips-and-articles/common-customizations/dynamic-redirects-after-form-submission/ I hope this helps. Cheers!
  13. If it helps, you may also reduce the number of visible options in dropdown fields by enabling the Record Level Security feature on the form element configuration. Here's a HowTo article for more information: https://howto.caspio.com/authentications-and-connections/authentication/record-level-security/record-level-security/

    Dropdown List

Hi, if you want to know more about list data types, I suggest checking this video tutorial:
  15. Hi, if you are still in the process of building your application, I suggest checking this presentation from Caspio regarding the best practices in establishing your table. It was also mentioned in the presentation that numeric values that are never used as numbers such as phone number, social security number, zip code, etc. should always use text (255). You may check the article through this link: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/table-and-database-design/
  16. To add on this, you may also reduce the number of visible options in dropdown fields by enabling the 'Record Level Security' feature. Here's a HowTo article for more information: https://howto.caspio.com/authentications-and-connections/authentication/record-level-security/record-level-security/
  17. Hi, if it helps, I found this HowTo article about PDF download that seems to cover this topic: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/pdf-download/pdf-download/
  18. Hello there, I encountered a similar workflow in the past but instead of doing it on the table level, I created mine on the DataPage level. This is possible using calculated fields with the help of SELECT and CASE WHEN statements. The only downside of this solution is that the output is not being saved in the table. For reference, you may check this HowTo article: https://howto.caspio.com/function-reference/
  19. As for the calculation, you may check the function reference article to see the list of available functions that you can use to achieve your ideal output: https://howto.caspio.com/function-reference/
  20. Hello there, since these records are coming from different tables with a relationship established between them, I would recommend creating a view to join these tables and merge the matching records. Here's a HowTo article for reference: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/what-are-views/views/
  21. Hello there, I also read in one of the HowTo documentations that numeric values that are not used as numbers such as ZIP codes, phone numbers, and social security numbers should always use Text (255) as the data type. For more information, you may check this link.
  22. Hello there, since your workflow seems to have many tables with related records, I suggest joining those tables to your Triggered Action as seen on the example provided above. Also, you may try playing around CASE WHEN blocks if you have any conditional scenarios that you need to prompt using triggers. For more information, you may check this HowTo article: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/triggered-actions/

For starters, I highly suggest watching these three video tutorials that really helped me a lot in understand most features in Caspio: - Basic Training with Caspio - Introduction to Application Building - I hope you find these videos helpful as much as I did. Cheers!
  24. If your goal is to be able to submit on both tables, you may also try creating a dummy table that you can use as the data source of the submission form and temporary storage for the records and then transfer them to their respective tables using Triggered Actions. Here's a HowTo article about Triggered Actions for more information: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/triggered-actions/
  25. Just to add on this, I believe you can also place the code inside an App Parameter and use that for your labels inside your DataPage. Here's a HowTo article for more information: https://howto.caspio.com/apps/app-parameters/using-app-parameters/
