  1. Just wanted to add that if anyone wants to hire programmers/developers to help with your Caspio Application projects, it is also a good idea to look for Caspio Certified App Developers. I recently heard they have a certification program and figured it's best if those who you will hire are certified to make sure every penny you spend is worth it. - LOEY
  2. Hi! Just wanted to add to the comment above that it is correct. You can make changes/add fields in such on this configuration screen so it shows on the actual page where you enter a new password after accessing the link sent to the email. Additionally, you can use the same style you use for your other DataPages so it matches your branding/style. Hope this helps! - LOEY
  3. Hi there again @imJihyo! Would this do? I added a background color and margin too to make it look more separated If this is what you want, you can add this style to your datapage header <style> dl.cbResultSetPanelDataContainer{ background-color: beige !important; margin: 10px; } </style> hope this helps! - LOEY
  4. Hi @jozzy79! Maybe you can try a multi-step form instead? The first form would be the general information such as name email etc, then the second page would have the payment details. That way, you make sure you get the email no matter what. https://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips-and-articles/common-customizations/how-to-create-a-multi-page-form/ Not sure if this will be applicable with your workflow, but I hope it gives you an idea. - LOEY
  5. Hey there! I found that Caspio has an article that lists the functions available. They also indicate which can be used in Calculated Value, Calculated Field, Aggregations and Formula Field. https://howto.caspio.com/function-reference/ - LOEY
  6. In addition to @LittleMsGinger's suggestion, here is an additional resource for you. It is about field formatting. - LOEY
  7. Hello there! In any cases you'll need reference to change the format of a date differently again, you can change the 103 in this calculation: CONVERT(DATETIME, [@field:], 103) - LOEY
  8. Hiyaa there! In cases when you want a different format of your date, you can refer to the list provided in this forum post:
  9. Hi @Mahmood that is such a nice idea! I'm thinking you'll need a lot of calculations for that. Hopefully these helps and give you an idea on how you can start https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/datapage-components/calculated-values/ https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/data-types/formula-fields/ https://howto.caspio.com/function-reference/ https://howto.caspio.com/getting-started-videos/ I'm really excited for you to develop the app you have in mind. All the best of luck! - LOEY
  10. Hi there @jeffs88keys! Not sure if you'll use this for your Tabular or Details page, but maybe using Rules might help. You can learn more about them here: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/forms/conditional-forms/ Hope this helps!
  11. Hello there @niamul21! You can treat this community forum like your teammates' group chat As the comments above mentioned, you can get help with so much things and the great thing is, people share ways to achieve certain things that might be hard to accomplish alone when you first start using Caspio! I particularly get a loooot of help when it comes to customizations and calculations here. Everyone is indeed nice and very helpful. I hope you enjoy your stay! - ʟᴏᴇʏ
  12. Hi there @myName after checking Caspio's list of error messages, it seems that error code 62504 is caused by this: 62504 Failed security check. DataPage cannot be rendered from this account type. This error occurs when you store users’ passwords in a Text (255) field in a user table. Due to data security restriction, passwords must be stored in a Password data type field. https://howto.caspio.com/troubleshooting/errors-and-messages/ You may want to check your table.. I hope this helps!
  13. Hiyaa there! In cases when you want a different format of your date, you can refer to the list provided in this forum post:
  14. In addition to @TellMeWhy's comment about format, you can also refer to the list provided in this forum post:
  15. Hiya there!! I'm sure this one is deeefinitely not the best way to achieve this, but here's how I add my two text fields with a dollar sign '$' + CONVERT(VARCHAR, CONVERT(FLOAT, IsNull(STUFF([@field:Text1],1,1,''), 0)) + CONVERT(FLOAT, IsNull(STUFF([@field:Text2],1,1,''), 0))) I remove the first character, set the DEFAULT value to 0 when it is null, convert them to number, add them, then convert them to text again since I want the result to have a dollar sign too Hope this helps!
  16. Hi there! I just wanted to add this forum post I found. In any case you are using a look-up table for the dropdown, this might also work:
  17. Hey there @imJihyo! Maybe you can use a calculated field to check if the code is valid OR existing inside your code table, then use JavaScript to prevent the submission? I created one DataPage for creating payment confirmation codes. This one makes you enter the name of the customer then it generates a random ID as the code: Then, for the form that the users will fill out, I used a combination of calculations and JavaScript. Here's the calculation (you can use a virtual field, set the form element to calculated value, then use the solutions here to hide the field):
  18. Hey there @RossChevalier List data types are designed to accept multiple values. A user Can select just one option, but they Can also choose more than one. Not sure if any script will work for enforcing the field to just accept one choice. You can learn more about that data type here. Depending on your workflow and why you needed to use a list data type, an alternative I can suggest is to use a text 255 data type for these fields instead. It's kinda ideal since if you use it in a submission form, set the form element to a dropdown, it will only accept one value. Plus, since you menti
  19. Hi @Barbie thank you for that very straight-forward sample! @Batchini I can also suggest going through these links to learn more about tasks. When you get a hang of it, it is really helpful with automating processes along with triggered actions, https://howto.caspio.com/tasks/
  20. Just wanted to add that we can change more than just this in Localization. We can also change the errors, warnings and other messages, button captions, timezones and more. I suggest going through this article and also play around Localizations itself to explore. Who knows, maybe there's something you didn't know you need to change and it could be done using Localizations https://howto.caspio.com/localizations/
  21. I believe you're trying to export the DataPage along with the data source and DATA. You can follow the steps provided above, but make sure for step 7 to choose "With Data". I can also suggest going through Caspio's how to article to learn more about it: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/exporting-data/ Hope this helps!
  22. Forgot to mention that you are planning to keep the Group ID hidden! Since there is no option to hide the cascading field, you can hide it by using HTML blocks and other options here: https://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips-and-articles/common-customizations/how-to-hide-fields-in-datapages/
  23. Hai there! Since you are using a look-up table, maybe a cascading form element will work for you? I tried to create a DataPage based on the information you provided. This will also work even if you update or add new KeyCode-GroupIDs. You can learn more about cascading elements here -> https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/datapage-components/cascading-elements/ I hope this helps!
  24. Happy to know it helps! You can try changing the colors using this input.SimpleButton { }
  25. Hi @LoveCaspio Not sure if this will be helpful to you, but I hope it gives you an idea on how you can change the look of your System Messages ♥
