  1. Hello, Does anybody know how to disable autocomplete on text input fields? THANKS
  2. Hi! This is my first question on this forum, so I apologize if this question is not in the scope of the board I followed this thread to concatenate values from four virtual fields onto an existing field on a details page upon "update". I added the code below to the footer of my details page, and it worked when my virtual fields were text fields. However, this code did no longer worked when I changed my virtual fields to autocomplete fields. Is there another step I need to convert the autocomplete to text? <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> function concatenate() { var x0 = document.getElementById("EditRecordOtherCollectors").value; var x1 = document.getElementById("cbParamVirtual2").value; var x2 = document.getElementById("cbParamVirtual3").value; var x3 = document.getElementById("cbParamVirtual4").value; var x4 = document.getElementById("cbParamVirtual5").value; document.getElementById("EditRecordOtherCollectors").value = x0+" "+x1+" "+x2+" "+x3+" "+x4; } document.getElementById("caspioform").onsubmit=concatenate; </SCRIPT> Thanks!
  3. Our database was created before formulas were allowed in tables. Due to relationships, table restrictions and being live, I would like to fix this without using formulas. I have a submit form that is creating a Work Order Number by concatenating the Equipment_VIN and Time Stamp. In the form the Equipment_VIN is chosen by drop drop down from an equipment table. The form works perfectly. When I change the Equipment_VIN to autocomplete so the VIN numbers are easier to find the element of the VIN is no longer pulled by the script. Anyone have an idea as to why this is happening? Here is the script I am running in the footer. The script points to an HTML block div that is called "won" for work order number. <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> function concatenate() { var position1 = document.getElementById("InsertRecordEquipment_VIN").value; var position2 = '[@cbTimestamp]'; var allpositions = position1 +" "+ position2; document.getElementById("InsertRecordWork_Order_Number").value = allpositions; document.getElementById("won").innerHTML= "Work Order Number is: " + allpositions; } document.getElementById("Submit").onmouseover=concatenate; </SCRIPT>
  4. Hello, My website (gradlook.org) uses Caspio to host a search engine for graduate schools as well as chat forums. I am now looking to create a compare functionality. This is essentially will just a combined table in which the user enters the names of two schools from the same table (preferably with an autocomplete feature). The results are a table with two columns (each school) and each school's fields/stats side by side. I have been working with views but haven't really been able to get anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Joe
  5. Hello, I would like to make an autocomplete field non-editable when 70 to 80% of the content - typed in by a user - match with the available data within corresponding Look up table. Please advise Thanks K
