API Timeout

What would the causes be for a CURL API timeout? We set it to 60 seconds as maximum and it still fails. Would the cause be on your side? And how do we prevent it?

Please do note that some requests sent via the API may generate a large amount of data as a response and this can cause a timeout. A value of at least 120 seconds is recommended, but you may need up to 300 seconds (the default HTTP response timeout for most other operations).
