How to show results when the other filter is not clicked or left blank?

Hello! Im Jared, Im new to caspio and Im working on a simple database for researches of our department. I have created a single datapage for it with two filters, Year Presented  and Type. I managed to get some results when the two filters only  have values on it like for example (2016 and Commercialization) but when I leave either of the two and only search using one criteria there are no result to show. 

Question: How can I show results when I only search using one criteria?

There could be a couple things doing this.

First, check your values in the first dropdown, Year Presented. It looks like the display value is set to ' - ' which is fine, but you want to make sure the 'value' part is set to nothing.

Next, you'll want to check the advanced tab on your fields. There should be an option to choose what to do when the field is left blank. Make sure to choose 'ignore field in search criteria'.

If you're still having a problem, if you could take a screenshot of your form datapage wizard on the search page showing the values for Year Presented, that would be great.
