Trigger keeps returning false.

I have this trigger setup which is meant to turn the 'cleared' field false if the 'checked' field is also false. However, whats occuring now is that no matter what update I make on the record, even though the 'checked' field is checked, it still keep making the 'Cleared' field false.

It took me a while but it only needs this simple solution:

It turns out that the equivalent value for null in Yes/No field is false thus on the previous setup, there are no else statement there so when the condition went false, it will only return false value as well.

Tracking Consecutive records for task.

You can use this setup to check if the table has consecutive records. Ex. check if a table has atleast 1 record per day from the last 5 days.

You can use this kind of setup if you have a workflow where you need to identify which record or person has an entry for each day from the the last 5 days and send an email to them.  Overall, the logic is to group them by Parent ID and Date, so there will only be 1 unique date per parent ID. Then filter the records  to include only those that are from 5 days ago to current.

Finally, check who among them has greater than or equal 5.
