Mapping question -- can you map WITHOUT an exact address?

tcpalm

Question

I'm working on a "Road Watch" page for our web site:

http://www.tcpalm.com/caspio/roadwatch/

We do not normally receive exact addresses with our information -- because construction projects can stretch "between Edwards Road and Taylor Creek Canal" for instance. For the time being, we're locating a physical address within that span so that we can map a point on the map.

Is there an easier way to accomplish this?

Thanks.

Hello,

You can use the nearest intersection for the maps for both Google and Yahoo. For instance the map could point to "First st and Main st, Palm Beach FL." You could potentially map the two nearest intersections between the construction. Please let me know if that does not solve your problem in full.
