iframe SSL

If I deploy a datapage iframe and select it to be SSL encrypted, and then deploy the iframe on a site that does not carry a SSL certificate, is the information transferred to caspio SSL?

caspio page will be ssl encrypted any ways.

Ok thanks! So it is only not encrypted for an embedded data page, even though that is SSL deployed?

As long as you check SSL option in the deployment wizard, either deployment method you use your DataPage will be deployed with SSL meaning that it connects to Caspio servers through a secure connection (https:// rather than insecure http://).

However end user may not realize that the DataPage is secure unless he is technical enough to view the source of your web page and see the Caspio deploy code using https://...

To enable end users to know that the web page is secure, you can either make a comment to explain about the fact that the form is secured or you might want to get a certificate for the web page from your web hosting company or other providers. This way your web page URL starts with https:// rather than http:// and a lock sign will appear in the page status bar which indicates this page is secure.
