coderedkyle
I have built an app for training classes. I have a field for date of class, and a field for expiration date of certificate. I need to be able to have the expiration date automatically fill in for 2 years after the course date at the time that the form is submitted. Any help would be appreciated! fangjie
It is possible using JavaScript to perform the calculation and store the calculated difference. Here is a JS sample regarding calculations on date/time field http://forums.caspio.com/index.php/topic/3150-js-subtract-two-date-values-and-store-the-difference/.Regards,
Meekeee
On this kind of workflow, you can try using Task or Triggered Actions. This allows you to modify data and send email or SMS notifications based on a predefined time schedule which you can use to your expiration date.
