Import an Access "split" database

sheckay

Question

Hello. I have created an Access database that's split. The data/table side is on a centrally shared drive and the clients use a different kind of a file which has the forms, queries, reports, etc.
Can a database like this be imported into Caspio? If so, are there any additional steps required? If so, please explain. Thank you.

MS Access Database support has been deprecated last April 1, 2024. https://howto.caspio.com/deprecations/deprecation-of-ms-access-for-import-export/

I recommend using a different file type that is accepted by Caspio:

  • Microsoft Excel files (.xlsx, .xlsm, .xltx, .xltm, .xlam) – maximum 255 fields
  • CSV (Comma Separated Values) – maximum 255 fields
  • Tab Delimited text – maximum 1023 fields
  • Fixed Width text – maximum 1023 fields
  • Caspio XML (every setting) – maximum 1023 fields
  • Custom XML – maximum 1023 fields

The steps to import the files are also found at: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/importing-data/

Good luck!
