Formatting Main Menu According To "access Level"

Hi,

 

We are thinking of having a "main menu" to our application.

 

Basically

-> In users table, there is a Role field which states which role the user is assigned. Admin, Manager and normal.

 

 

When the user logs in, we want the menu to show only the parts that the user should be accessing. Is there any way to achieve this using Caspio?

 

Two ideas we have in mind

(a) Hide/show links according to role field value.

( Redirect user to 3 different Datapages depending on their role value.

Look for plug in called Access. It works great and is easy to set up. You can create roles and assign menu options depending on the role of the login

Sorry, I use WordPress and use Caspio as my Database. The Access is a Wordpress add on. So, my reply above does not apply directly Caspio

If "Redirect user to 3 different Datapages depending on their role value" works for you, you can use a HTML-page to redirect a user.

You may consider to create three views based on your main table and in this way to provide a proper access to each category of users (Client, Manager, Admin).
