Field Not Available On Submission Form Using View

I have created a view by joining 2 tables.  TblFinalPts has everyone in it, tblAppraisal will get new records added to it.  I made tblAppraisal editable.  I'd like to display some fields from tblfinalpts on the submission form that uses the view, but they are not in the 'list' of fields.  Why can't I use them -- I can see them when I look at the View?

I am sorry, I do not understand your question clearly.

 

As far as I know, a Submission Form creates a new record. A user can enter values to editable fields. A user cannot enter any value to not editable fields, like Autonumbers or fields of not editable tables of a View. Probably, it is the reason why these fields are not displayed. As far as I know, when these fields are displayed, they were disabled.

 

Could you please tell some more details why and what you want to display on your Submission Form? Maybe I can find a solution.

Hello, just to add, we can only select one table to be editable when creating a View as this is one of Caspio's security feature to limit the editing of data into different tables.
