Table Not Updating When Forms Are Updated

Hi again,

 

I am not sure what I'm doing wrong. My tabular report is not getting updated, even after the form is updated. Changes to the form show immediately on the details page, but not on the tabular page.

 

What can I do to correct this? Any help will be welcomed.

I figured out a workaround to my problem.

 

When I put a calculated field in the datapage element of my tabular report to act as the "surrogate" data for showing summarized results in a tabular format,  I got it to work! 

 

So instead of relying soley on the actual field from the input form, I put a calculated field (which of course is as good as virtuals).

 

Now for the real and actual field, I put a javascript in a HTML page with a concatenate function, that submits all the changes to the actual field from the "surrogate" calculated field on the tabular report.

 

It worked!  Yeayy!

Hi Elena,

 

When data in actual fields are updated through details or results page, the page shows the updated data, if the actual fields are included in the page and the report filtering configuration is not filtering the record out. Not sure why you weren't seeing the updated data, if data is not sensitive you can provide the URL of your original report where I can see the issue.
