Losing @ When Passing Email Parameters

I have recently converted my site from Joomla to Wordpress.

 

My app that passes an email address parameter now seems to drop the "@" symbol during the pass-through.

 

i.e.  When hovering over the hyperlink, I can see the @, but when it actually passes, it's gone.

 

Any thoughts?

Try @ where the @ would go.

Thanks, but unfortunately that won't work as the email address is actually a data field that is being passed through.

If you try this and it works for the test (like create a fake email address that's name@domain.com)

 

You could build some script that will change @ to @ before the link is clicked
