Datapage text input - regex verification

Hello,

I did a bit of searching but didn't find anything related to this specifically.  I would like to apply regex to individual text fields to require values are input using a format of my choosing.  Would this be javascript in the footer?  Or is there a part of the Datapage wizard where this belongs that I've completely overlooked?  I'm familiar with how regex works and what my field regex code would be, I just don't know how to implement it into a single record input datapage.

You can put Javascript with regex expression in the Footer of the datapage.
