Auto update table field.

Can you help, I need to auto update table field after 72hours if not updated. For example auto change the value of field ‘Status’ to lock if the value of field ‘Payment’ has not been updated after 72 hours. How can I set this?

Hello,

This cannot be done automatically due to system limitations in Caspio.  It is only possible if you manually run a Report DataPage. 

Formula fields/triggers need an insert/update to happen to the table to automatically change the status of the field.

Last October, Caspio released new features. One of it is Scheduled Tasks. 

Tasks are operations that you can create in your application and run them manually or automatically based on a predefined schedule. They can be very useful for automating repetitive actions, like data modifications or sending email and SMS notifications.  

Just like the example below.
