Datapage Accessibility for Screen Readers for the Vision Impaired

SaraL

Question

Is there a way to make a datapage accessible for screen readers for people who are vision impaired? I have a search and report datapage that needs to be accessible for a screen reader. You can see it deployed here: The Bright App 2.0 • WIM Tracking . The screen reader does not always read each of the fields in the datapage and only reads the options in the drop downs fields about 50% of the time.

Hi @Meekeee - We do not have an existing screen reader on our website. I downloaded a free screen reader and tested it on our webpage and found that only some of our content was picked up by the reader (we mainly had trouble with drop down menus being read). We are trying to find out if there is anything we can do on the back end to make our content accessible to someone who uses their own screen reader to view the page.
