Hi - We're new to Caspio and just becoming familiar with the features. One scenario we're trying to figure out is:
Embed the search form/results DP in a web page on our site
Add a custom link to a details DP that's also embedded in a separate web page on our site
Select the back button after following the custom details link and keep the search results instead of resetting the search form
We've figured out how to do steps 1-2, but 3 has escapes us. We can't seem to find a combo where we can keep our site branding, provide direct links to a details page for a specific record, and still main the search results without opening the detail links in a separate browser tab.
Any ideas on how to accomplish this? We have a need to "deep link" to a specific record on a details page which is why we're experimenting with the separate web pages. Here's our draft solution where we're passing a URL parameter to the details page, but it breaks the back button option. because we're launching it in a separate tab to maintain the original search results:
