Hint time-out - change setting

Does anyone know how to change the time-out setting for Hints. Now it disappears after a few seconds, and with long hints times out too soon. Solutions welcome!

Thank you M! I tried another variant - added 'duration: 20000;' to the code for Label Hints, and it work like this: The hint is visible for about 8 seconds, and then it restarts by itself and is visible for another eight seconds and so on. It is almost better, as it prompts the user the read a little faster, or 'are you still reading this?'.. sort of.. Before the user would have to move the cursor away and back to the Hint question mark (a bit annoying)

Actually  @Meekeeemy test with adding 'duration: 20000; was not working after all, I was mistaken. It seemed be working for a moment. I will review the links you provided, thanks!
