External user account enrollment

We need to create an app where external vendors log in to to create a request or provide additional information to us about an invoice or work order of theirs.  How would we do that?  Do we send them an invite and they sign in with their company email and create a password?  Or how would I got about that?

- If you have their details saved in your table or Excel, you can provide the email to them and they can set up their own password

The other option is by using a Registration Form for them to register then they will have a page that can access their details or submit a work order.
