JohnM
My Chrome browser is set to open PDFs instead of downloading them. But this does not work with my Caspio application. Clicking on a .pdf file in a results page downloads the file. Is there some setting in Caspio that forces the browser to download? Can I change this so the file opens? 0 Kurumi
Hi @JohnM - Are you referring to the PDF download of Report DataPage or the PDF in Document Generation?
0 NailDyanC
I believe you can set the option of not downloading the PDF instead of previewing it on your browser in the PDF configuration. You may check the screen shot below:
0 JohnM
This is when the field is a File datatype and the content of the field is a .pdf. @NailDyanC, the PDF option does not appear on my Search and Report Wizard - Results Page Options. There are the check boxes for Excel and for CSV and the next line is Compress for ZIP format. Maybe this setting is just for downloading reports (not for file-type form elements) and since I have not enabled that, I don’t see the option. Question
JohnM
My Chrome browser is set to open PDFs instead of downloading them.
But this does not work with my Caspio application. Clicking on a .pdf file in a results page downloads the file.
Is there some setting in Caspio that forces the browser to download? Can I change this so the file opens?
