Form Button labelled 'search' not 'submit'

Hi all,

I've noticed that the form submission button defaults to 'search' instead of 'submit'? Is anyone else having this problem and know how to change it?

Hello @Felix,

This text depends on the Localization that is applied to your DataPage (Submission form in this example).

You may want to check this article: https://howto.caspio.com/localizations/localizations/

Each DataPage has its Localization:

To change the text, please go to the Localization -> Forms/Details Pages -> Button -> Submit -> Custom Text:

Or you may create a new one. 

It looks like you have the Ready-Made Application in your account that has the customized Localization and you`ve applied that Localization to the new DataPage.

In some cases the Submission form is used as a Search form with Virtual fields to pass parameters. For example: https://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips-and-articles/tech-parameters/how-to-separate-search-page-and-results-page-into-two-different-webpages/
And in this case, the Submit button should  be renamed to Search.
