unedit-able line

in text area field , when a new line is entered or " enter " is pressed 

the previous line is unedit-able 

is there a way to make this happen ?

i think im searching for the wrong way to reach what i want

let me rephrase my question 

is there a way to make an insert text area 

like a text area field and after writing , press a button an what was written is inserted in another display only field and so on

something like a chat box
