Split front and back end

I have an Access database currently on our LAN and I want to move at least the back-end to Caspio (the font-end has a lot of forms and VBA code that I don't think that I can import).  If I lave the front-end on the LAN:

How slow will access be over VPN (or is that even a factor since Caspio is web-based)?
How do I link the tables (I'm currently using the Linked Table Manager)?
Can I import forms, queries and VBA to Caspio?

Hi @JeffLipton - For importing Access file, it will only import the table and its structure. Here are the only accepted format in Caspio: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/importing-data/
