Problems with parameters of dropdowns

Sometimes I receive empty parameters of dropdowns fields on the Javascript in footer of a Web Form. If the parameter is [@Departure] and in the script I have DepartureTxt = "[@Departure]"; , then DepartureTxt is empty instead of the selected value. I try it in IE & Firefox with the same results. Any help?

Please refer to some Java Script examples at viewforum.php?f=14. It gives you an idea how to use a field parameter in a Web Form. For example if it is a Capture Web Form, calling a field parameter on the script should be:

document.getElementById("InsertRecordFIELDNAME")
