Calculations

Trying to write code for two calculations for my table.

1. Total of column 4 divided by total of column 3

2. Column 4 divided by total of column 4

I'm assuming by all of the other selections I made in the datapage will filter down to the information I need, then all I need here is to calculate upon the entries in the table that are left after the filtering?

I'm not really sure how to implement code, but was hoping someone could at least get me started.

Hi J,

There is a sample Java Script called "JS: Calculate column sum in the result page" at viewforum.php?f=14. It shows how to calculate total of a column, you can modify the same script to calculate the second column and divide the two values.

Hi,

As Caspio improves its features throughout the year, performing calculations do not require custom coding anymore. You just have to select Aggregation on the picker and insert the formula to display the expected output.
