Dynamically Add Options to Dropdowns and Listboxes

I have followed all the instructions on adding to a dropdown list which is working well, except I cannot get the form to refesh automatically as in the article, to show the updated dropdown list.

Be gentle I am new!

Are parent and child lookups coming from the same table?

Parent set as dropdown, child as cascading dropdown?

Child's "Parent field" setting set to the parent?

Child's "Filter by" setting set to same lookup field as Parent's "Value" field (NOT "Display")?

Just a few of the gotchas...

Hi @willklumb,

 

To properly test this feature you will need to deploy the original form and view it outside of Caspio Bridge. If not deployed, the popup window will appear, however, the original form will not refresh when a new item is submitted.
