Hide field in tabular report based on a condition

I would need to hide different fields in tabular reports based on a condition (such as report filter value, report field value, or calculated field).  The fields I want to hide are, and should be, either blank or zero, depending on the condition. 

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks @PotatoMato! That should work, but I will replace the dropdown with calculated (hidden) values to determine which fields to hide. Many thanks for the advice! /KG
