Prevent duplicate case number

Hello

I have a created a data submission form with fields : Company_ID, Date of Creation,Proforma_No, Supplier, Customer
This form is to create a new record for each new Proforma we issue, so Proforma_No, should be unique
I want to prevent users from entering duplicate proforma No with a message : Proforma already exists etc.

How can I do that?

Hi @FadiZ,

If you do not want duplicates, you can set a Field to unique on the Table level:    

An error will be shown on the DataPage when you try to submit a duplicate value to that Field: 

You can change the error message in the Localizations menu:
