Would like searched date range to show on results page

I am often entering date ranges (two criteria fields - one for the beginning date and one for the ending date) in the search page of a report to determine the records I want to view in the results page. When I print the results page as a report, I would like to have the date range I chose displayed somewhere on the report.

This is simple to do. Enable parameters in Report, then in the Configure search fields screen go to the Advanced tab of each criteria and pass them as parameters to the next page (i.e. [@fromdate], [@todate]) which is the results page. Then in the results page Configure results page fields screen insert a Header/Footer and write in the parameters exactly as you called them while passing them. (i.e. [@fromdate], [@todate])

I just realized, though, that since I am using criteria 1 and criteria 2 for the beginning and end date, the parameter is the same and even if I enter two different dates in the search, the beginning and ending date are showing up as the same on the results page.

You can change the name of the parameters so they will not be the same.
