Using A View In An Sql Statement

Hi

I am using a View as the data source on a data page. I am trying to write an sql select statement in a calculated field using the View as the data source, but I keep getting 'invalid'. Is it possible to use a View in a select statement in this way?

Try placing '_v_' in front of the View name when you specify it in the FROM.

 

SELECT fieldname FROM _v_viewname
