Report only Newest Record(s)

Is there a way to run a report showing only the most recent iterations? Please see attachment. Thanks for your help !

Try adding a Timestamp field based on record update in your DataSource table and in your Report DataPage, sort the report  (descending) based on this field.

Hello Ba2sai,

Thank you for responding. I understand how that works unfortunately that will not yield what I am seeking. I need to have a report with the most recent document date. If documents are entered out of order the datetime stamp won't show the most recent document date. The documents have different document dates and may be entered out of order. The datetime stamp only reflects the date and time the document was physically entered but not the date on the document itself.  Also I know I can have a column sorted by document date but as you can see in my attached example, I need only the most recent documents with the most recent dates (not all documents).
