I have a table that contains the following fields: grossamount, transactionfeepercentage, transactionflatfee and netamount. The grossamount field amount varies. The transactionfeepercentage field is always 2.9%. The transactionflatfee is always $0.10. The netamount field = grossamount -2.9% - $0.10
The problems I am having are calculating the percentage and then inserting having that correct amount inserted into a non formula field so that I can use the data in other calculations. Any ideas on how to do this? I am assuming that I will need a statement in my datapage which I do not know how to do. All help is appreciated.
