I understand and have seen that Swagger UI can provide automatics REST API for entities in the tables automatically. This is really great and provides some nice functionality.
I am wondering if Caspio also provide a way to extended the REST API to custom endpoints, specifically those based off of views that we create?
In other words, if I perform a join of 2 tables and select certain fields that I want shown, and make that a view, can I then expose that view as a REST API easily?
Said once more, in a slightly different way, it is great for example, to be able to use the datapages to embed in an app, but all I really want is the data contained in that Datapage as a JSON object so that I can use my own component to consume and present that data.
