firefrox Why Does Firefox Run Multiple Processes In The Background?

Hello friends. Firefox keeps running multiple processes in the background while I am not even using it. This is eating up a lot of system resources. Does anyone know the solution for this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

I already tried limiting the content process from Firefox, which is more of a temporary fix. After I found this on Google, I decided to change the browser.tabs.remote.autostart config value to false. This fixed the issue for me.
