Hi Tim,

Caspio will host the database for you and if you would like to query Caspio database from an external application you can use Web Services APIs, however that needs you to have programming knowledge, you can review Caspio APIs at http://bridge.caspio.net/ws/api.asmx

I would also suggest to submit a free project consultation request at http://www.caspio.com/support/projectconsultation.asp and a Solution Advisor will contact you to discuss whether Caspio Bridge is a good solution for your project.

Best,

Bahar M.

Hi Chris,

I am the developer for our web site. I need to store text in a database (Caspio?) and then I will be creating an application on our web server to retrieve that data and create PDF documents on-the-fly with it. I like the aspect of having the data in the Caspio database so we can create forms, etc. quickly and easily, but need access to some of the data for my other apps like I just described.

Tim

Hi - Just wanted to update everyone that beginning on October 3, 2022, Caspio will deprecate SOAP API Web Services and this option will be removed from API profile creation screen. Existing SOAP applications will continue to function until June 3, 2024. After this date, the Caspio SOAP API will no longer execute. We strongly recommend that you start migrating any existing SOAP calls to Caspio’s REST API to avoid interruption of your applications and benefit from modern API technology. To know more, you can check it here: https://howto.caspio.com/deprecations/deprecation-of-soap-web-service/
