Number data types showing up as text

I have created several data elements in a table as numbers. In creating my data page, these fields are coded with # but only give me the text options. How can I get number options, like $ or decimal points.

Hi,

I assume you wanted to format couple of number fields on a Report Datapage, which is definitely doable. On the 'configure results (or details) page fields' screen, find "formatting" and three options "none, localization and custom". You can format the number fields by either changing the localization or set up the custom option.
