required field

i have a dropdown box with several choices. It is a required field.

it seems that the required part does not work. they can submit without doing

making any choices. How can I require them to make a choice?

The only scenario it can happen is that if you have selected "Both" as the dropdown source and in the Custom values you have a mutual option like any but you forgot to remove the value as described here http://howto.caspio.com/datapages/form-elements/dropdowns-and-listboxes/adding-an-any-option-to-a-dropdown-menu.html/url]

using it in a data entry page.

Hi @lcftra,

Good news! Caspio has now this Required feature in the Submission form. Just enable "Required" option in your Configure Fields. This will not allow submission if the field is empty.
