Data sometimes not saving on manual entry

We are finding that when we manually enter data manually into the database sometimes it is not saving.

Is there something that could be causing this, I presumed that the when you enter data into a field manually it saves it straight away. (as there is not a save option in the menu)

Some things we could be doing wrong:

- Closing the window using the cross at the top of the browser instead of going > file > logout

- Having multiple people logging in at once, which kicks out the user and may not save data they have entered

- Closing the window too quickly, before it has time to save

Let me know what could be causing this.

The second situation is a common reason.

For example, If two users have access to one record, the last one who updates or changes the record will be saved in the table.
